Join renowned computer security expert, Dr Darren Mundy to learn about the latest cyber-scams and discover what you can do to protect yourself when using the web.
As well as providing useful practical advice, Dr Mundy will cover emerging email security threats including Spear Phishing (intelligent email targeting), and reveal how we can protect our identity online.
Dr. Darren Mundy holds a PhD in the field of Healthcare Informatics and a first class honours degree in Computer Science. Darren is the Deputy Head / Undergraduate Director of Studies for the School of Arts and New Media at the University of Hull. His research interests range from Computer Security through web personalisation systems to innovative educational technologies.
